Yours were some of the first through which I read. (Including the "13 liters of sake" comment) I also took the opportunity to look up Toma No Sai
I spent over an hour last night reading through the forums. Very informative!

Hey, I just recieved an email from Sensei Nix. He recognizes that you are not going to have an easy exit out of the Wylie Dojo. And he realizes the ego and character of Dennis. Ronnie asked me if I would take you under my wing. What that means is that organizationally you would be moved under my linage and I would be responsible for your future promotions and fostering. How do you feel about this? To me this must be a mutual agreement, in such an weird case (with Dennis involved), between you and I first before I give my commitment to Ronnie and RSKKR wide. If you agree to this it would be kept under wraps until far later after the break from Dennis is cleared and we deal with Dennis organizationally. You actually have three choices. 1) Stay under Dennis and resolve your issues (however, he will never have his current rank recognized and his ability to promote in Seidokan with Organizational certificates will soon change). He will be on his own soon. 2) I foster you into my linage and we work together and I take care of you in the ways you know me already. What you see is what you get. Or 3) You are an independent with no upward mobility any further and you would be able to promote folks to one below your current rank but then refer them to another Seidokan instructor of greater rank for promotion. That are the options as I know it.
It would be an honor to have you and your students in my linage and I would be dedicated to your and their success. Take time to think it over and I will wait for your answer and thoughts before I respond to Sensei Nix's request. Be well. |
