Nix Seidokan Dojo has been invited to participate in an Okinawa Prefecture International Karate Demonstration to be held 28 Apr 2013 in Okinawa City, Okinawa, japan. This is an all-day event to showcase Okinawa's new international approach to Okinawan Karate.

[Event was cancelled] Here is some background: Okinawa City was/is hoping to become the center of a new international exchange program for students of Okinawan Karate, bringing together northern Okinawa styles such as Motobu-Ryu, and southern Okinawa style, such as Shuri-Te, into one central location. Karate students around the world could come together to this location to share knowledge and ideas. Okinawa City officials hoped to construct their own dedicated Karate building near the budokan where we held our 2012 RSKKR Seminar. We have no word yet on exactly why the Demo event was cancelled.
